Shirley Cranfield

Shirley Jane Cranfield, 78, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her beloved family and friends. She was born in Soddy Daisy, TN on April 16, 1946 to the late Wesley and Vesta Davis. She married the love of her life Clarence Cranfield at the age of 18 and was married for 45 years until his death in 2008.

Shirley loved her time dancing with family and friends at the Pumpkin Patch in Chatsworth. She loved her yearly camping trips to Tellico Plains with her family and friends. For many years you could always find her, if she wasn't out with friends, on her front porch in her favorite rocking chair. Shirley always loved the holidays as her family all gathered at her place to celebrate. Shirley dearly loved her family and her family's love for her was deep and unwavering, and she will be truly missed.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Wesley & Vesta Davis, spouse Clarence Cranfield, son Edward Cranfield, brother Homer Davis, great-granddaughter Aurora Quinn, special nephews John & Joe Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, son Tim Cranfield (Laurie Hughes) of McDonald, daughters Karla Tyler (Bill) & Karen Alexander Weaver both of Cleveland. Sisters, Beatrice Reece and Florence Cranfield. Brother, Arnold Davis, all residing in Cleveland, TN. Grandchildren, Coty Cranfield, Spencer Cranfield (Makayla), Allison McNabb (Kyle), Casey Caldwell (Tabitha), Madison Guy (Lakke), Talyr Alexander, Paige Quinn (Isaiah), 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and a very special niece Tina Keith.

Services for Shirley will be Friday, February 28, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home, Ridge Chapel. The family will receive friends 11:00-1:00 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00. She will be laid to rest at Johnson Cemetery in Soddy Daisy, TN.
