Shirley Budge

Shirley Nina Shedd Budge, 88, peacefully entered into the Lord's presence on August 28, 2024.

Born on September 14, 1935 in Mattawamkeag, Maine. Shirley worked at Forsters Manufacturing Co for over 40 years. She then earned her CNA certificate and began working with healthcare. Shirley always put other's needs before her own. She was a giving soul, and you could count on her bringing you a home cooked meal when there was a need.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Norman Earl Budge Sr; parents, Prince Shedd and Stella Shedd Grant; sister, Alice Joy Coombs; brothers, Walter Shedd and Clifford Shedd.

Shirley is survived by her son, Norman Earl Budge Jr and wife Dottie; daughter, Barbara "Babs" Patterson and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Aaron Patterson, Jonathan Patterson and wife Kaylee, James Patterson and wife Cheyenne; sister, Emma Mae Lambert and husband Larry Murdock; a sweet sister in-law, Maria Shedd; and best friend, Annette Osgood.

A memorial service will be held on September 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Shenandoah Baptist Church (138 Osment Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323) with Pastor David Gamble and Brother Leonard Albert church consultant and family friend officiating the service.

There will be another memorial service held at the Mattawamkeag Bible Baptist Church with Pastor L. Brent officiating to be announced at a later date.

Shirley's sense of humor and contagious laugh will be missed by all who knew her.
