Shirley Ann Mccracken Maddux

Shirley Maddux,age 83, departed this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at her home. Born on January 19, 1939 to the late James and Pearl Curtis McCracken, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was a fiesty lady that made everyone laugh. she loved purses and earrings, planting flowers, fishing, working word search puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
In additio to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Maddux; son, Ricky Lynn Rogers; brothers, Ralph, Hillard, and Winford McCracken; sisters, Louise Hamiltonand Mary Lane; and a baby sister, Ruby McCracken.
Left behind to cherish her memory are he rsons, Mike Rogers(Tammy), David Marler( Ed), and Jerry Marler(Sylvia);siblings, Betty Rutledge(Bill), Eugene McCracken(Katherine); grandchildren, Michael Rogers(Tara), Larry Rogers(Heather),Corey Marler(Julieann), Dennis Rogers(April), Nichole Carroll(Josh), Casey Rogers,Quinton Williams, and Lacey Young; tewnty great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

Family and friends will meet at Ramsey Cemetery at 3PM Sunday May 1, 2022 to Celebrate the Life of Shirley Ann McCracken Maddux with a graveside committal service.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
