Shirley A. Hines

Obituary
Shirley A Hines of Chattanooga died Sunday March 22, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son Jermany Jerome Hines, her mother Louise Hines Brown and grandparents Otha S Roach and Guy Hines.

She is survived by her sons Val Lamar and Courtney L Hines both of Chattanooga. Grandsons Nathan C Pursley (Heidi D), Courtney Hines Jr, Sam Lingo, Daniel and Terrance Williams and great-grandchildren Avery and Logan. Several cousins and friends.

Shirley began her career in food service industry in the 60's at Baroness Erlanger Hospital. She held the position of Food and Beverage Manager of Ramada Inn of East Ridge where she was recognized for her sacrifice and dedication to service. After a time she joined the staff at Cloud Springs Elementary as their Kitchen Manager where she remained until her retirement in 2010.

A memorial service will be held at the East Ridge Church of Christ on April 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association in her honor.
