Sherry Farmer

Sherry Lynette Farmer, born April 6, 1967, passed away on February 23, 2025, in Rome, GA.

A beloved mother, sister and friend, Sherry touched the lives of many during her time as a teacher at Dyllis Elementary School, where her passion for education inspired countless young minds.

Sherry was an avid reader and movie enthusiast. She enjoyed immersing herself in new stories. Her love for gardening brought beauty to her home and joy to her heart. Sherry was also a dedicated baseball fan, and could often be found cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents: James (Marion) Clark and Linda McNelley.

She is survived by her two daughters, Victoria (Caleb) Powell and Madison Farmer, as well as her brothers Jay (Jennifer) Clark, Curtis (Jeannine) Clark, and Daniel (Jennifer) Mckinzey, her sister Kelli Bryson, and her dear cousins Pamela Gossett and Penny (Dan) Lewis. Along with family, Sherry leaves behind her beloved friends Gale (Bill) Carr and Hannah (Derrick) Sise.

A service for family and close friends of Sherry will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 6pm at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
