Sherian Lynn Smith

Sherian Lynn Smith, 66, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home. She spent her adult life here in Cleveland. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Sherian was a happy, loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Poteet; granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Farris; stepson, John Daniel Smith; and brother-in-law, Ralph Nelson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 29 years, Robert Smith; father, Arthur Ogle Mull, Sr., daughter, Angie Lynn (Tom) Logan; step-daughter, Leah (Scott) Davis; siblings, Tina Nelson, Sandra Mull, Arthur “Bud” (Vickey) Mull, Jr., and Vincent Scott (Conya) Mull; granddaughter, Savannah Farris (Malakai) Cabrera; and step-granddaughter, Carolina Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at 9:30AM on Friday, August 28, 2020 with the Reverend Donnie Dalton officiating.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to the Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Sherian’s “little dude,” Gunner Jeffries, and additional devoted caretakers, Tina and Jessica.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice of Chattanooga in Sherian’s honor.
