Sheila Renee' Denton Lynn

November 11, 1954 - January 10, 2025

Sheila Renee' Denton Lynn, 70, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be the Lord on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Sheila Lynn was a devoted believer in the Lord and placed her faith at the center of her life. She cherished her husband, Donnie, with all her heart. They met in her early teens and celebrated their last anniversary together on June 18, 2024, marking 54 wonderful years of marriage.

Sheila was formerly a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and then became a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship continued to flourish.

In her free time, she enjoyed treasure hunting at yard sales, always finding delight in uncovering hidden gems. Sheila found great joy in tending to her garden, caring for her vegetables, rose bushes, and so many other beautiful fragrant flowers.

She also loved traveling to the beach, a cherished tradition she personally maintained for over 50 years, always accompanied by her loving husband, Donnie, and rarely missing a trip. After several years of visiting Panama City with Donnie and a few others, their adventures grew as the couple became a family of five. Over time, these family vacations attracted even more beachgoers, with additional family and friends joining Donnie and Sheila, creating cherished memories and turning the trips into a beloved tradition for all.

If Sheila could say one thing to those attending her service, it would be to let them know that Jesus loves them. She would encourage them to accept Him into their hearts and lives so they, too, can be saved and one day join her in heaven.

Sheila Lynn was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, just as she was deeply loved in life.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents Paul Denton Sr. and Dorothy Holdiman, brother Paul Denton Jr., sons, Chuck Lynn and Curtis Lynn.

Survivors include her loving husband Donnie Lynn of 54 years, her daughter Tracy Rice, sister Brenda (Donnie) Howard, brothers James (Joyce) Denton, Larry (Karen) Denton, grandchildren Destiny Rice, Stormi Lynn, Sidney Lynn, Fox Lynn, Kody Lynn, Jordan Wheeler, Vandolyn Brackett, great grandchildren, in-laws, many nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home's Ridge Chapel located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland TN 37311 from 12:00 - 3:00 PM with the service immediately following at 3:00 in the Shelli Cody Sanctuary.
