Sharon Renee Anderson Grubb

Sharon Renee Anderson Grubb, 54, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020. She was a graduate of McMinn County High School and was and honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army after faithfully serving her country during Desert Storm.
She is preceded in death by her father Robert Anderson, father-in-law Frank Grubb, mother-in-law Belva Grubb, sister Amy Anderson and grandparents Walter & Edith Anderson and Fred & Suzie Davis.
Sharon leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Richie Grubb, mother Martha Sue Anderson of Niota, grandson Jesse Grubb, one sister Lisa Horton of Athens, three brothers Bill & Dolores Anderson of Athens, Bobby & Christy Anderson of Ten Mile and Terry & Sandra Anderson of Decatur, numerous other extended family members and host of special friends.
Richie would like to extend a special thank you for the excellent care Sharon provided raising our grandson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, May 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Union McMinn Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM with the Reverend Bryan Coffey officiating.
