Sharon K. Sowers

Sharon Sowers, age 55, after a long struggle with multiple illnesses, passed away in her home alongside her family in Chattanooga, TN on 12/29/21. She was born in Chattanooga and resided there throughout her life. Sharon loved reading, art, and music. She worked in administration at Conagra for many years. Family remembers her as being free spirited and kind and would often give her last few dollars to someone in need. She was survived by her children Samantha (Sam) Morales, Sanford R. (Merry) Lancaster, and Lauren (Justin) Thomas. She had many grandchildren including Logan Ray, Isaac Morales, Karrie Morales, Sanford R. Lancaster Jr., Zak Zadra, Nyklas Lancaster, Sydney Thomas, River Morales, and Penelope Morales. She was close to her remaining siblings Karen Mealey and Linda Stangarone and their husbands Arthur Mealey and Nick Stangarone. She was preceded in death by her parents James C. Sewell and Ethel Sewell (Roderick), siblings Steven Sewell, James Lynn Sewell, and Randy Sewell, and her husband Jack Sowers. She will be greatly missed.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1p.m. until 3p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW Cleveland TN 37311.
