Sharon Denise Dodd

Sharon Denise Dodd, age 62, of Soddy Daisy, departed this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at a local hospital. Born on November 8, 1957 to the late Hokey and Vera Dodd she was a native and lifelong resident of Hamilton County and was of the Baptist faith. She loved attending church and family gatherings; enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren enjoying every second she got to spend with them. She loved poetry and wrote many poems in her younger years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny McAfee.
Left behind to cherish her memory are children, Danielle Kincer, Misty McAfee and Tad McAfee; grandchildren, Zach McAfee, Raven Sneed, Paige Pelletier, Katey Pelletier, and Makayla McAfee; brothers, Aaron and Tony Dodd; sisters, Debbie Lindsay, Janice Hyde, Pennie Brown, and Joni Gregory. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.

A Private family service will be held at a later date.
