Sharlene Mikel

Sharlene Mikel, 60, who was born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, after her fourth battle of cancer. She was born in Cleveland, TN on July 9, 1963. She was formerly employed by Food City, Ocoee Crossing, Cleveland, Tennessee.

Sharlene was the best half of a set of twins born to the late Betty (Helton) and Donald Lee Mikel. She was also the sister of the late Sandra (Sandy) Gail Kelly. She has gone to join not only these loving family members, she has joined many other members of the Helton and Mikel families.

Sharlene Mikel leaves behind the following loved ones to cherish and memory. As well as a host of friends who had the opportunity to be her friend.

Darlene (Mikel) Tramel, twin sister. Two brothers, Jimmy Don Mikel, and Greg - (Connie) Mikel. Two Nieces - Nickie - (Eroc) Russell, daughter Nora Russell. Tabitha - (Rodney) Wattson, their children, Hayleigh & Hayden Wattson. Three nephews Michael Wade, Tommy Hesson and Jason Pippenger. She has also left behind Rhonda Crowder and a host of other special friends from Food City and Ringgold, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN. A service celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Ray Cheatham and the Reverend Gary Higgins officiating. The interment and committal will follow the service in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
