Shane Anthony Shaw

Shane Anthony Shaw, 35, of Tellico Plains passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. Shane was born on February 21, 1987, in Sweetwater, Tennessee to Wayne and Lisa Shaw. He was a farmer and avid hunter. Shane also enjoyed being outdoors hunting for arrowheads and Ginseng as well as spending time with his friends and family.

Shane was preceded in death by his sister, Misty Dawn Blackwell; grandfather, Wayne Shaw Sr.; and his grandmother, Carolyn Keeton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Lisa Shaw; father, Wayne Shaw Jr.; sister, Ashleigh Rodgers; his three brothers, Shawn Blackwell, Jerrad Shaw, and Jesse Reed; his nieces, Misty Shaw, Carol-Lynn Shaw, Emma Shaw; Cheyenne Roberts, Shaylyn Roberts, Sydney Rodgers, Marley Rodgers, and Ellie Rodgers; his grandmother, June Shaw; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home of Athens at 6:00 pm with Reverend Guinn Green officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm prior to the service.
