Scotty Eugene Knox

Scotty Eugene Knox, 52, a lifelong resident of Athens, TN passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 24, 2019 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was born in Athens, TN on July 29, 1967. Scotty loved music, camping, spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dena Knox and one brother Brian Hampton.
Scotty leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother and step father Brenda & Thomas Ray Cooper, two daughters Elizabeth Ryann Knox and Lindsey Marie Knox, one brother Allen Knox, two grandchildren Jayden Knox and Zaylen McDermott, longtime companion Patricia Smith, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A graveside service is planned for Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Clearwater Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Michael Coleman officiating.
