Missy Parris

Sarah Melissa Parris, affectionately known as Missy, passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 51. She was born on August 28, 1972, in Cleveland, TN, where she spent her entire life. Missy devoted herself to her role as a housewife, finding joy and fulfillment in raising her large family. Her proudest accomplishment was the love and care she poured into her children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. She is survived by her devoted husband Sammy Parris and their 7 children: Morgan Buckner (Trey), Katie Lockman (Sam), Josiah, Jacob, Sarah, Samuel, and Stephen. In addition to her immediate family, Missy is survived by her mother, Dolores McCallister, as well as her brother Jonah and wife Megan McCallister. She also leaves behind her sister Rachael and husband Jason Bivens, along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Grandparents James and Bonnie McGuire, Vicky Kirby her Aunt, and Daniel Parris her son. Missy was involved in local churches and homeschool co-ops. She was dedicated to her Lord Jesus and embraced the opportunity to love those around her.

Visitation will be at Waterville Baptist Church 4555 Dalton Pike SE Cleveland, TN 37323 on May 3rd, 3pm-5pm with the Celebration Of Life Service at 5pm.

Following the service, there will be a graveside service at Candies Creek Cemetery in Charleston, TN.
