Sarah Jane Caylor

April 30, 1944 — February 20, 2021

Sarah Jane Caylor, 76, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on February 20, 2021 at Centennial Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. Sarah loved Tennessee football, Nascar racing, spiritual concerts, and Braves baseball. She was a social butterfly that never met a stranger. She was always the most loving, caring mother, grandmother, and companion to all that knew her. We know she’s having a heavenly time, probably talking Jesus’ ear off.

Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James P. Caylor,III; parents, Charlie and Dossie Dixon; sisters, Pauline Brock and Mary Lee Haney.


Survived by her daughters, Teresa (Randy)Jones and Brenda (PJ) Jenkins; sisters, Barabara (Randy) Barnes and Charlene (David) Williams; grandchildren, Ryan Murray, Justin Sikorski, Alisha Murray, Timmy Sikorski, Christopher Appelt, and Katelyn Judy; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; loving companion, Harvey Tobitt.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Companion Funeral Home-Cleveland with the service to begin at 5:00 P.M in the chapel. Darrell Grady, officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
