Sandra Sue Chambers Hamilton, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Max Frent (Con) Chambers and Edith Elizabeth Sharp Chambers.
She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, Athens Vocational School, Cleveland State Community College Nursing Program and Tusculum University.
She was a member of Cedar Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church in Georgetown.
She was a career nurse retiring both from Allied Bendix and Bradley Memorial Home Health and Hospice. Sandra was a gifted gardener and loved animals and being outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Nancy Chambers Lindner.
Survivors include children: Dr. Howard L. (Traci) Hamilton, Rachael (Ronnie) Casteel, and Troy Hamilton; grandchildren: Brooke (James) Anderson of Chattanooga, Brandon (Holly) Edwards, Dr. Katie Hamilton of St. Petersburg, FL, Connor Hamilton, and Meredith Snyder; great grandchildren: Baylor, Fischer and Harper Anderson of Chattanooga: Carter, Cate and Claire Edwards, Beckham Hamilton and Beau Snyder; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Cleveland Kidney Center and Hospice of Chattanooga’s Palliative Care and Hospice Services. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Cedar Ridge SDA Church.
Abiding by her wishes, there will be no services at this time.
