Sandra Pursley

Sandra Pursley, 77, of Ooltewah, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Among her other interests, she enjoyed cooking and growing flowers.

Sandra was a faithful member of Mercy Baptist Church of Ooltewah, serving as church secretary for many years. Sandra was a godly example to others and leaves behind a testimony of genuine Christianity.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Pursley; sons, Terry Pursley; Scooter (Robin) Pursley; daughter, Candy (Chuck) Williams; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday morning, September 29, from 10 AM until 12 PM at Mercy Baptist Church of Ooltewah.

The celebration of life service will be held at 12 PM at Mercy Baptist Church of Ooltewah, with Pastor Greg Banther officiating.

Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, September 30, at 12:30 PM.
