Sandra Ann McCrary April 29, 1940 - May 6, 2024

Sandra Ann McCrary, beloved Mother to five (5) children, 84, of Cleveland TN, passed away in her home, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Sandra has twelve grandchildren, Michelle, Kenneth, Brandon, Ashley, William J., Jenna, Marc, David, Melissa, Joshua, Andrea and Anthony, along with nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, who will dearly miss her.

Sandra was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Leo and Margaret Wolfington. As a child she used to tell us she remembered coming home and watching her mother chasing a chicken around the yard with no head and would laugh, she would also tell us that she remembered when they would name their turkey and then end up eating it for their dinner, and she did not like it.

Sandra McCrary was a devoted mother to Michael McCray, David McCrary, Diana Bickford, Nancy Wellman and her husband William F. Wellman and Sherry Radauscher, her pride and joy's. She always said that their births changed her life for the better, and they felt that love and support she provided.

Sandra took special joy in her dog Brandy, she gave her comfort and company in her life.

Sandra preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Dean McCrary, her mother, Margaret Irene Wolfington, her father Leo Barney Wolfington, her brothers Keith Wolfington and Kenneth Burns, and her daughter Diana Kay Bickford. She is survived by her sisters Patricia Bass, Sharon Pritchard and Linda Burnham, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday May 10, 2024 at Companion Funeral Home at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. Sandra's family will be receiving friends from 4pm until 6pm prior to the service, with Pastor Tony Spencer officiating.
