Sandra Dunn

Sandra Rae Dunn was born on May 16, 1944 in Breckinridge, Minnesota.

She passed away peacefully November 22, 2024 in her home in Cleveland, TN after many years of battling various health issues. She was 80 years old.

Sandy was known for her warm, silly personality and joyful demeanor. She was very affectionate to those she loved and loved hugs, kisses, dessert, and to giggle.

A celebration of life will be held at her beloved church First Lutheran of Cleveland, TN on November 26 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Sandy is survived by the love of her life and husband of 60 years Charles Dunn, her son Charlie Dunn and his wife Ashley, daughter JoAnn Burris and husband Beau, granddaughter Summer Works and husband Robbie, and great granddaughter Mae Eloise Works, along with brother in law Ron Dunn, sisters in law Juanita Dunn and Linda King, Sister Marion Walburg and JoAn Lee both of North Dakota, and many neices, nephews, cousins, special friends and neighbors.

Sandy is preceded in death by her mother and father Borghild and Teddy Trove, mother and father in law Lewis and Mae Dunn, brothers Bud, Gene, and Bruce Trove, along with brother in law lohn Dunn and Jerry Bullard, and sister in law Patsy Bullard.

Sandy lived a life of many accomplishments. She attended high school at Wyndmere in North Dakota. She then went on to attend nursing school North Dakota State where she earned her LPN.

Working as an LPN was where she met the love of her life and husband of 60 years Charles Dunn who was in the air force at the time in North Dakota.

Upon marrying Charles then moving to Tennessee with her husband Charles and starting her family, Sandy attended nursing school a second time to earn her RN degree at Cleveland State Communite College.

She was a passionate, hard working nurse and she took great pride in her work. She went on to become the director of nursing of Bradley Nursing Home.

Sandy had many accomplishments but the one she was proudest of was her love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sandy attended the Viking Lutheran

Church in North Dakota for her youthful years before moving to Tennessee where she was a member of First Lutheran Church for the remainder of her precious life.

Sandy enjoyed reading her Bible, shopping, spending "girl time" with her daughter and granddaughter JoAnn and Summer, cooking, and anything that meant having fun and "living large."

Sandy will be greatly missed. She was loved truly. We rejoice in knowing that her reward for living her life for Jesus has been realized and that we will see her again one day in Heaven!
