Sandra Davis Beard

Sandra Davis Beard, age 58, was delivered by angels to her heavenly home on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She was born on April 2, 1958 in Cleveland, TN.

She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She was always ready to share her love, faith, and dependence on Jesus. She was affectionately known as “Sandy” to her family and friends. Sandy took great joy and was happiest when she was helping others. She was a dedicated volunteer at OAR for many years, teaching adults to read and celebrated the efforts and successes of her students.

She is proceeded in death by her parents William Bill Davis and Polly Calfee Davis, grandparents, Wesley and Pansy Atkins Calfee and Briz and Anjie Walker Davis.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter Pansy Beard of Knoxville, TN; Son Samuel Beard of Calhoun, TN; Her beloved and treasured grandchildren, Maci Simmons, Jaxon and Averi Beard. Brother Bill Davis Jr (Joanna), sisters Christy (Daniel) Rutledge, Cathy (Johnny) Gee all of Calhoun, TN. JoAnn Parrish, Linda (David) Forrester; and sister by choice Fay (Archie) McDaniel all of Cleveland, TN.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6:00 until 9:00 at Kinser Church of God located at 141 Kinser Road SE Cleveland, TN (off Hwy 64). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the church, with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the service. Son Samuel Beard, Brother Bill Davis Jr, Nephews Jarrod Gee, Murphy Davis, Jesse Davis, Dr. Jake Parrish, and Dr. Brandon Forrester will serve as pallbearers.
