Samuel Lee Boyd, 80, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away, Friday, November 15, 2019. He was of the Baptist faith, retired from the city of Chattanooga and served in the United States Army.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, John and China Boyd; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survived by his wife, Opal Boyd; son, Sammy Boyd, both of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Catherine (Lynn) Allen of Dunlap, TN. Opal and Sammy would like to thank all those from Pruitt Healthcare and Hospice of Fort.Oglethorpe for all the care, love and support during this difficult time.
He will be laid to rest at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Burial will be private.
