Obituary

Samuel J. McCoy, 78, of Decatur, TN passed away on Monday June 16, 2014. He was born on September 4, 1935 to the late John and Mamie McCoy. Samuel was a member of American Legion and served in the Military Honor Guard group for many years.

He is preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Billy McCoy. He leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter Rosie McCoy, sister Mary McCoy, two brothers: J.J. McCoy and Patrick McCoy, two grandsons Mark Letner and Christopher McCoy, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, June 20th, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the VFW Post 7189 in Decatur, TN. The service will conclude with full military honors.
