Obituary
Sam Freeman, 68, a lifelong resident of Tellico Plains, TN passed away on Sunday Morning, August 3rd, 2014. He was born on July 17th, 1946 a son of the late Selous and Edith Freeman. Sam was a member of Popular Bluff Baptist Church in Tellico Plains, TN. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was especially gifted at squirrel hunting.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Lee Freeman.
Sam leaves behind to cherish his memory two sisters Marie Queen of Madisonville, TN and Linda Gourley of Tellico Plains, TN and two brothers Jerry Freeman and his wife Shirley of Georgetown, TN and Gene Freeman of Texas, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Millers Chapel Baptist Church with the Reverend Chris Dodson officiaitng. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the 2:00 PM service time.
