Obituary
Sam A. Taylor, 64, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away peacefully at his home on Friday November 18, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Sam was born in Ironsburg, TN. He was a son of the late Fate and Maxine Taylor. He was of the Christian faith and was retired from John Holmes Used Cars. Sam loved hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan and a faithful follower of the Atlanta Braves, but he will be most remembered for being a loving father and devoted son.
Sam is survived by one son John Taylor of Cleveland, one brother Terry (Pat) and three sisters Debbie Hughes (Dewight), Vicki Thurman (Robert), and Lisa McCoy (Donald) all of Cleveland. Sam also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Mt Olive Corner Fellowship located at corner of Harrison Pike and White Oak Valley Road. Interment will follow in the Earls Cemetery with Cody Bentley, Taylor Bentley, Mike Bentley, Robbie Thurman, Donald McCoy, and Nathan Hughes serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Monday November 21, 2011 at the Mt. Olive Corner Fellowship from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
