Sally Ann Owens Smith, 73, of Chickamauga, GA, passed away July 12, 2024. She was born in the small town of Greene, New York and the youngest of what we named ourselves.......AS.......

..."THE GOLDEN RULE" Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you!

..."MANNERS" -We said Please and Thank You. We addressed adults as Mr., Mrs. or Miss. And adult relatives were Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, and Uncle.

.."PRAYERS NIGHTLY"- Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take. Amen..

Sally was a quiet, shy little girl. As a young adult, Sally became an Ordained Minister. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Finance and Accounting. Sally was always eager to help anyone who needed guidance. She loved homeschooling her grandchildren, arts and crafts, Crystal expert, Gemology, painting rocks, and specialty baking.

Sally is preceded in death by her father, Frank Owens, Jr.; mother, Grace Watrous Ownes; sister, Darlene Ownes Cirinna; first husband, Bruce Goss; second husband, Lee Smith; her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Left to cherish her memories, her son, Kevin Goss (Aranza); grandchildren, Klint Goss, Serina Goss, Sabrina Sarrge Goss, Christopher Sarrge , Cheyenne Goss, Kevin Jr Goss, and Bruce Goss ; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dana Cirinna; sister, Doreene Owens- Butts ( Jack); nieces and nephews, Jackie Butts-Dalton, Steven Butts (Dee), Gwen Butts Satterfield Dalton & Robert; great nieces and nephews, Justin Dalton & Addie, Maleesha Butts-Bruce & Gunter, Torey Butts Weikel & Coy, Bo Butts & Bre, Emily Satterfield & Cameron, and Sarah Satterfield & David ; eight great-great nieces and nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
