Ryan Dale Lieving

Ryan Dale Lieving, born on February 26, 1985, in Chattanooga, TN, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024 at his home in Hixson, Chattanooga, TN. Ryan was a devoted husband to Cassandra Lieving and a loving father to his cherished daughter, Ava Lieving.

Ryan was proud to work as a Network Engineer for EPB, where he was known for his steadfast dedication and devotion to a company that he truly believed in. His career was marked by numerous accomplishments, but nothing surpassed his pride in being a father. Ryan's selflessness and loyalty made him a pillar of strength for his family and friends.

An avid cook, Ryan found joy in preparing food, often sharing meals with loved ones. He enjoyed boating, computers, internet radio DJ-ing, gaming, and photography, hobbies that allowed him to express his creative side and connect with others. Ryan valued spending quality time with family and friends above all else, fostering relationships with people from all walks of life. His caring and non-judgmental nature created a welcoming presence, making everyone feel accepted and valued.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Cassandra Lieving, his daughter, Ava Lieving, his mother, Diane Lieving, his father, Jeffrey Lieving, his brother Jeron Lieving, and his sister, Nicole Lieving. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Ryan will be deeply missed for his practical wisdom, unwavering support, and the warmth he brought to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in Ryan's memory. Memorial details will be shared at a later date.
