Ruth Shelton

Ruth Shelton, 96, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2018. Ruth loved visiting with family, gardening, taking care of her pets, and cooking. She is most known to family as the best fried pie maker anywhere! She really enjoyed cooking and got great satisfaction out of family enjoying the food she had made.

Proceeded in death by parents: Thomas Arp & Ceney Arp;brothers: Wade Arp, Hayden Arp, Lloyd Arp, James Arp; and sisters: Flora Peak and Dorothy Wilcox.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home, from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

A celebration of life graveside service will begin at 12:45pm at the Elrod Cemetery in Murphy, NC.
