Ruby Sue Nicholson

Ruby Sue Nicholson, 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Ruby was born on December 10, 1946 to the late Dewey and Mamie Hamby. Ruby loved her animals, going to church, spending time with her family, and traveling.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Nicholson, one daughter, Jaime Nicholson Dalton, parents, Dewey and Mamie Hamby, two sisters, Edrew Hamby and Rose Kimsey, and one brother, Newbert Hamby.
Left to cherish her memory, one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lisa Nicholson, one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Brett Dalton, grandchildren, Katlyn and Justin Dockery, step grandchildren, Leah Shepherd, Joseph and Kali Gray, and Luke Shepherd and Chelcee Peel. One step great-granddaughter, Avera Gray, three brothers, AJ Hamby, LB Hamby, and Marion Hamby, four sisters, Hazel Dalton, Margaret Hatchett, Wanda Wilburn, and Linda Nix. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends also survive.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Epperson Church located at 650 Epperson Road Tellico Plains, TN 37385. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 until the 7:00 celebration of life service. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Massingale Cemetery on Barney Road in Epperson.
