Ruby Mae Lynn

Ruby Mae Lynn, 91 of the Prospect Community passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Tennova after a brief illness.
She was born to the late Lee and Hattie Murray Swaggerty. Ruby enjoyed spending time on her porch swing listening to the birds singing. She and her Special Companion Bill Ellis loved attending the Senior Center while taking part in the activities and dances. Ruby was a member of Phillipi Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Lynn, infant son Terry Lynn, daughter Tiny Lynn Hannah, sisters Faye Walgamott and Marion Swafford.
Those left behind to cherish Ruby’s memory are her children; Brenda Cress (Kenneth), Tony Lynn, Jimmy Dale Lynn (Mary); grandchildren; Gerald Cress (Donna), Tracy Hannah (Sylvia), Paige Mooneyham (Jeff), Casey (Bobbie Taylor), Trinity Lynn, D.J. Lincoln; great grandchildren Connor Cress, Caitlyn Cress, Allie Hannah, Bailey Hannah, Luke Mooneyham, Amy Lynn and Piper Lynn; companion Bill Ellis; sister, Joyce Price as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday June 21, 2019 from 11:00-1:00 in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home followed by a graveside service in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Hooker officiating.
