Ruby Joan Moore, aka “Miss Jo” and her favorite title “Nana”, 80, of Cleveland, went to be with Jesus Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Bradley Healthcare in Cleveland, Tennessee surrounded by family and friends.
She was the daughter of the late Minnie Brown and was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital. Before working at the hospital, she was a hairdresser most of her life until she became a mother. This was what she enjoyed most was spending time with her children and then being blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill G. Moore; son, Brian E. Moore; her brother Kenneth Brown and sister Barbara Hicks.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Billy “Rick” Shelton (Susan); Yvonne Moore Graham (Tony); Vicki Moore Preston; granddaughters Amanda Waters Price (Tyler) and Caroline Preston; great-grandsons who were the light of her life Tucker and Rhyder Price; siblings, Jimmy Brown, Donnie Brown, Billy Brown and Charles Brown; and several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
