Roy Woods

Roy Bedford Woods, 80, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Roy was born on May 20, 1944, in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late William Henry and Martha Louise Woods. Roy enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers, and sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Samuel Woods; daughters, Rachel D. Biggs, and Doris Lee Michelle Conner; his brother, William Ernest Woods; his grandchildren, Nickie N. Sullivan, Tiffany R. Dilbeck, Michelle L. Fowler, Stanley L. Conner, Brittany N. Bigelow, Christopher D. Woods, Taylor R. Woods, and Tyler G. Woods; and several great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral of Cleveland with Pastor Tony Garrett officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Moore's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Stanley Conner, Adam Bigelow, Cody Fowler, Christopher Woods, Taylor Woods, and Tyler Woods serving as pallbearers.
