Roy Scott Sandidge, 56, of Cleveland, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 after a long illness with diabetes. Scott attended school in Ringgold, GA and was employed at Maytag for 17 years in Cleveland. Scott was a gifted musician and songwriter. He was also a great impersonator of the last 5 presidents as well as many cartoon characters to a tee. Scott was a gentle spirit and loved children, they were drawn to him like a magnet. Scott will be missed by all who knew him.
Scott leaves behind his companion and caregiver, Jennifer Emerson. Scott’s his pet cat, Tommy Boy, passed only a few hours before Scott.
Survivors also include his dad, Roy A. Sandidge; mom, Dorla Sandidge; two brothers Marty and Patrick Sandidge of Cleveland; two sisters Roxanna and Joy Sandidge of Chattanooga; an aunt, Sharon Sandidge and brother/cousin Billy Sandidge both of Cleveland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home with the service to begin at 7:00 PM.
