Obituary
Mr. Roy John Henderson, 59, a lifelong resident of Blairsville, GA passed away on Monday, August 5th, 2013.

Roy was born May 19, 1954 in Towns County, GA. He was a member of Many Forks Baptist Church. Roy loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, and working on cars. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Henderson and his mother, Doris Henderson.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Alisha and Rhett Nelson, daughter and son-in-law, Amy and John Amico, daughter, Amber Henderson and fiancé, Bryan Easterling, daughter, Amanda Henderson and fiancé, Andrew Hyatt, daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Matt Hightower. Sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Speed Hunter, grandhildren, Noah, Madilyn, Melina, and John Amico, Olivia Nelson, Mckinzee Easterling, and Jackson Hightower. niece, Stacey and husband Rodney Quinton, nephew, Scott and wife Teresa Lockaby. Numerous friends and relatives also survive Roy.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 8th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Many Forks Baptist Church. Rev. Denny Hawkins officiating. Music will be provided by Gerald and Beth Patterson. Interment will be in the church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Ron Bradburn, Bryan Easterling, Andrew Hyatt, Denny Hawkins, Mike Hawkins, John Amico, Noah Amico, and little John Amico.

The family will receive friends at Many Forks Baptist Church, Wednesday August 7th, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Amber Henderson 1499 Tennis Court Rd 6B, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 to help offset expenses.
