Roy Franklin Mullins

Roy Franklin Mullins, 75, a lifelong resident of this area passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in a Sweetwater Nursing Home. He was born on December 3, 1944 in Meigs County. Roy worked for many years doing local home improvements. In addition, for his love for his work, Roy enjoyed camping and fishing in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by several siblings.
Roy leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Geneva Mullins Hoover, four sons Barry Mullins, Larry Mullins (Angela), Joe Mullins and Keith Mullins, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, several siblings, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, January 2, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN.
