Roy "Deano" Bishop

Dean” Deano” Bishop, age 60 of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday morning, February 18, 2021 at his residence. Born in Benton, Tennessee on April 13, 1960 to the late Mary Bishop, he lived a majority of his life in Bradley County and was of the Baptist Faith. Deano enjoyed camping and fishing, but his world revolved around his family, especially his kids, and all the grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Janice Nichols Bishop; children, George Casteel (Nicole) and Donna Nichols; grandchildren, Shelby Long, Tyler Smith, Austin Casteel, Sebastian Nichols, Tristan Hawkins, Tabitha Hawkins, Kyle Dunn, and Kaebrie Dunn; brothers, Wayne Bishop and Brownlow Bishop (Barbara); five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members as well as a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Roy Dean Bishop will be held at 2p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Brother Ray Cheatham and Brother Carl Hauk officiating. Burial will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery in Benton with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. Sunday, February 21 at the funeral home.
