Roy Crawley

Roy Edward Crawley, 53, passed away on February 20, 2025. He was born to the late Christine Arledge and James Crawley on March 13, 1971 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Roy was a hard working man, and deeply cared about those around him, as he always gave with his heart. Roy claimed he could fix anything, especially with a roll of duct tape, and was someone his family could always call upon. Roy enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and fixing cars. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his step-father, Armor Arledge, and sister, Lisa Johnson.

Roy is survived by his fiancé, Melinda Atkins, children, Destiny Peace and Noah Gann, step-children, Pam Wilson and Dillian Tenpenny, sisters, Juanita Crawley and Wendy Cronan, step-siblings, Randa Arledge and Chris Rodgers, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm prior to the service.
