Rosalie Nelson

Rosalie Nelson (Grams),age 92, Born on May 15th, 1932 has passed away on August 28, 2024 @ 6:50 AM in the hospital.

Rosalie was born in Bush, IL to Jake Pierce and Alice Inchcliff. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Charles Nelson of 60 years, brothers Larry and Ralph Pierce and several nephews. She is survived by her Daughter Linda Overturf of Cleveland, Granddaughter Andrea Knight (Billy) of Cleveland, Great Granddaughter Madison Ellis (Jacob) of Cleveland, Great Grandson Hudson Turner of Cleveland, and 2 Great Great grandsons Luke & Noah.

She moved to Cleveland in 2020 to be surrounded by her family. She worked at Norge in Herrin, IL and American magnetic in Carterville, IL. Then stayed home to take care of her husband and family. She loved her family and worried about everyone. She loved to cook and made the best chicken n dumplings.

The family will celebrate Grams Godly life on Thursday September 5th from 4PM to 6PM, a brief service will follow visitation. Brother Brad King of Journey Church will officiate.

Rosalie will be laid to rest in IL beside her husband at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Luke and Noah Ellis college fund.
