Rosa Lee Davis

Rosa Lee Davis, 70, a longtime resident of McMinn County passed away on Thursday morning, November 29, 2018 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was born on Grandview Mountain in Tennessee on November 28, 1948 a daughter of the late Garland & Thelma Reed. Rosa was retired from M & M Mars Company in Cleveland, TN. She enjoyed cooking, hiking with her constant companion “Abby”, but most enjoyed spending time with her two grandsons.
Rosa leaves behind to cherish her memory her son and daughter in law Patrick & Krista Davis, two grandsons Kasen Davis and Kannon Davis, two sisters Pat Ashburn-Garrison and husband Roland and Carolyn Mead, two nieces Kimberli McCreary and Ronda Wambach, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN. A celebration of her life service will begin at 3:00 PM with the Reverend John Powers officiating.
A graveside committal service and entombment will take place on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the McMinn Memory Gardens.
