Rosa Frances Emerson Shmidt of Soddy Daisy, passed away August 18, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Rosa was a retired nurse at Morton Plant Hospital of Clearwater Florida for 30 years. She loved her family patients and her flowers.
Rosa was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years Jerry Lee Shmidt, her eldest son Wesley James Benefield and both her parents.
She is survived by daughter Victoria Benefield Scott, youngest son Randal Benefield, grandchildren Andrew Scott, Tristen Scott Waldroup, Hazel Zoellener Schaefer, Raymond Benefield , Vanessa Benefield Rogers, Russell Benefield and 5 great grandchildren.
Services to be held September 2, 2022 at The Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1pm and a celebration of life to follow at Dallas Bay Church in Lakesite at 2:30pm
