Obituary
Ronnie Wayne Carper, 64, a resident of Georgetown, TN passed away on Wednesday night at his residence surrounded by his family. Ronnie was born in Corinth, MS a son of Sampson and May Carper. Ronnie spent his early adult life in McNairy County before making this area his home for the past forty six years. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Lakeway Baptist Church. Ronnie was retired from the City of Chattanooga where he worked for many years as a construction inspector. He was a local cattle farmer and owned CLC Cattle Company. Ronnie however will be most remembered as a very devoted family man by being a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parent, Ronnie is preceded in death by one brother Roger Lynn Carper.
Ronnie leaves here to cherish his memory his loving wife of forty six years Ann Parrott Carper, two daughters Amanda Gardner and husband Tim, and Kim Clayton, three sisters Brenda Ivey (Glenn), Mildred Killingsworth (Lucky), and Shirley Carper, one brother-in-law Tom Parrott, four grandchildren, and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday May 27, 2012 at 3:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Layway Baptist Church located at 8727 Highway 58, Harrison, TN 37341 with the Reverend Dennis Ray and the Reverend Fred Browning officiating. Interment will follow in the New McDonald Cemetery with Timothy Gardner Sr, Timothy Garnder Jr., Steve Clark, Rick Lowery, Brandon Parrott, and Shane Parrott serving as pallbearers. Interment will be followed by a white dove release.
The family will received from at the Lakeway Baptist Church on Saturday May 26th from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM and also on Sunday from 1:30 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
