Ronald J. “Ronnie” Ridgeway, 73, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday morning, March 20, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 10, 1944 to the late Water and Ina Ridgeway. All that knew Ronnie knew that he had a great love for bass fishing, especially when he went with his good fishing buddy BS (Billy Herron). He will be greatly missed by those that knew him.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James Ridgeway and Lem Ridgeway, and one sister, Bee Bates.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Withrow Ridgeway; children, Angela D. Sullivan, Anthony R. Ridgeway and wife, Cynthia, Allen L. Ridgeway and wife, Tina, and Annette E. Wilson, and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Brandon Ridgeway, Tyler Ridgeway, Rachel Ridgeway, Cyrena Ridgeway, Nathaniel Ridgeway, Christopher Wilson, Julia Ridgeway, and Ashley Ridgeway; one great-grandson, Kamden Mayton, AKA “Biscuit”; brother, Donald Ridgeway, as well as extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Berean Baptist Church, located at 2355 Bucks Pocket Road.
The funeral service is planned at 11:00am on Thursday March 23, 2017 also at the church, with Pastor Roger Wagner officiating the service.
Interment will follow the service in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Chris Wilson, Nathaniel Ridgeway, Jimmy Withrow, Steven Withrow, Scott Ridgeway, and Adam Withrow will be serving as pallbearers.
