Obituary
Ronnie Lee Ledford, 51, a resident of McDonald, TN passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in McDonald. He was born on August 10, 1960 a son of Leroy and Irene Ledford of McDonald. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and racing fan.
Ronnie is preceded in death by one son William Leroy Ledford.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by one son Ronnie Lee Ledford Jr. of Cleveland, TN, three sisters Shelia & Ray Massengale of McDonald, TN, Connie & Gary Crowe of Decatur, TN, and Marty Massingill Tate of McDonald, TN, grandmother Helen Hill of Ooltewah, TN, grandchildren Jake & Jaxon Ledford, a special friend Tammy Daley, a niece, nephews, and numerous other extended family members.
A Funeral service is planned for Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church located at 2807 Old Alabama Road SW, McDonald, TN 37353 with the Reverend Mike James and the Reverend Ken Purdie officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery with Daniel Massengale, Eddie Massingill, T. J. Massingill, Jason Crowe, Travis Battles, Ricky Teague, and Roger Kirkpatrick serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church. The body will also lie in repose one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga in memory of Ronnie.
