Obituary

Ronald Swinford, 62, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away at his home on Thursday, January 30th, 2014. He was born in Bradley County on March 20th, 1951 a son of the late J. C. & Lula Swinford. He loved the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Ronald is preceded in death by on brother Charles "June Bug" Swinford.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Linda "Sue" Swinford, one daughter Tina Myers and her husband Bobby of Nashville, TN, two special grandchildren who he raised like his daughters Latishua Overton of Chattanooga, TN and Brittany Cash, one great grandchild Autumn Cash, sister-in-law Nancy Swinford, niece Heather Massengill, nephew Charles Swinford, close friend he thought of like a daughter Yoshonia Masingill, special friend Lamar Martin, his four legged companion "Toby" , numerous other extended family members and a host of friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Monday, February 3rd, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Bethel Baptist Tabernacle located on 3165 Buchanan Road SE in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend John Bivens and the Reverend Billy Swaggerty officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with his brothers-in-law serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Myers and Chris Bradford.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, February 2nd, 2014at the Bethel Baptist Tabernacle from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.
