Ronald "Butch" Strickland

Ronald Lamar "Butch" Strickland, 72, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Butch was born on October 11, 1951 in Dalton, Georgia to the late Tom Strickland and Florence Strickland Hammock. In his spare time Butch enjoyed spending time with his children and granddaughters. He also enjoyed gardening, being out in nature, and the simple things in life.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Bucky (Alison) Strickland; daughter, Shannon (Chris) Callahan; his granddaughters, Emalee Stevens, and Bailey Strickland; siblings, Tommy Strickland, and Phylis Faircloth; and his friend and the mother of his children, Lisa Strickland; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Tunnel Hill Community Church in the main sanctuary located at 121 N. Varnell Road, Tunnel Hill, GA 30755. Visitation/Fellowship with the family will immediately follow in the Fellowship Hall.
