Ronald George "Ron" Porstner

Ronald George “Ron” Porstner, 57, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday, February 7th, 2016 at his home. Ron was born in Kenosha, WI on May 29th, 1958 a son of the late George & Leona Porstner. He has made Cleveland his home for the past 20+ years. Ron worked for many years as a concrete finisher, was a gifted landscaper and just enjoyed staying busy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister Diana Kramer and one nephew Robb Porstner.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons Christopher Porstner and Brandon Porstner both of Ten Mile, TN, one brother Don Porstner (Cory) of Lake Barrington, IL, nieces and nephews Debi Kramer, John Kramer, Michael Kramer Scott Porstner and Todd Porstner. Special friend Nick Hayes(Karen Harper) of Cleveland, TN and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial service is planned for Sunday, February 14th, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Russell Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
