Ronald Edward Bell

Ronald E. Bell, 57, went home to be with the Lord at a Chattanooga healthcare facility on March 14, 2017.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1959 and was a life-long resident of Chattanooga. He graduated from Kirkman Technical High School in 1977 and completed his Associates Degree in Business at Edmondson Junior College. He served 6 years in the National Guard. He worked as a painter and in various other contract construction positions throughout his career. He was an avid sports fan who loved to watch stock car racing and enjoyed supporting his favorite team, the Tennessee Vols.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Nellie Bell and Ben and Sarah Ellen Leamon.
Survivors include his parents, Samuel H. and Doris Roselle Bell; brothers, Samuel H. Bell, Jr. and Alan (April) Bell; aunts, Moral Kines, Dorthy Hardin, Bert (Bruce) Wallace; uncle, Clyde (Naydell) Bell; nieces, Ellen, Lindsey, and Samantha Bell, Madeline (Mackie) Puckett, Jenna Gouge; nephews, Alex Bell and James Gouge; several loving cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at the Collegedale Community Church with Pastor Tom Hayes officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19 from 12 pm until memorial time at the church.
