Roger Plemons

Roger Lee Plemons, 62, of Chattanooga, TN went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 31, 1962 to the late John and Patsy Plemons.

He was a proud U.S. Pipe employee for 22 years and poured himself into his role as boilermaker. Roger was also an avid horseman. He could be found trail riding and attending shows or sales all around the Chattanooga area. His knowledge of a horse's health and value were almost unmatched.

Most of all, Roger was a devoted family man. He cherished his role as daddy and papaw. He found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones. The most important part of Roger's life was his faith in Jesus Christ, which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He was excited to know they will join him in his heavenly home someday.

Roger is survived by his daughters Tosha (Len) Young, Dayton, TN and Jessica (Brandon) Horton, Charleston, TN; grandchildren Lane, Luke, Addie, Levi, Azlynn, Emma, and Brody; dear friend Libby Eslinger; siblings Diane, Steve, Ricky, and Robbie; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor Roger's life will be held at Tiftonia Baptist Church on February 22, 2025 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mark Brandon officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm.
