Roger Dale Passmore

Roger Dale Passmore, 72, of Benton, TN passed away on March 18, 2021. He was born on June 29, 1948 to the late Olin and Bonnie Passmore. Roger was a lifelong resident of this area and member of Benton Station Baptist Church. Roger was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He enjoyed trout fishing, camping, and traveling to Hawaii. Roger also had a passion for History. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother and father, Roger is preceded in death by his son Colin Passmore; brother Gerald Passmore; sisters and brothers in law Maxine Lewis (Gene), Jean Holden (Jim), and sister-in-law Linda Passmore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beth Passmore; son Jeffrey D. Passmore and wife Kim; brother Guinn Passmore; sister-in-law Uldine Passmore; grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth Passmore (Seth Bishop) and Matthew Passmore. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday March 21, 2021 at Benton Station Baptist Church with Pastor Joel Jenkins and Pastor Ryan Potts officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Benton Memorial Gardens. Matthew Passmore, Greg Passmore, Christian Passmore, Kevin Passmore, Seth Bishop, and Greg Peel will serve as pallbearers. Clyde Shinpaugh, Steve Lewis, and Michael Passmore will serve as honorary pallbearers.
