Roger Dale Mcwilliams

Roger Dale McWilliams, 70, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on May 10, 2018. Roger was born on November 20, 1947 to the late Roy & Rebecca “Beck” McWilliams. He was a decorated veteran of the US Army, earning two Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and a CIB during his time in Vietnam, where he was wounded while serving as a medic. His hobbies included: fishing, hunting, and guns. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Roger “Dale” McWilliams Jr., Paul McWilliams, Troy Williams, Mary Davis (Shane Harrold), Amanda Forgey (Steven); grandchildren, Tanner Davis, Tyler Davis, Dana McWilliams, and Alexa Ensley; great-grandson, Owen Ratcliff; special friend, Larry Stafford (Deauna); as well as numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A celebration of life funeral service will begin at 6:00pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
