Rodney Mullins

Rodney Wayne Mullins, 71, passed away at home on September 17, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1953 in Jenkins, Kentucky. Rodney was a strong believer in the Lord. He was a professional truck driver for 52 years. He loved his job traveling across the United States. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Madeline Mullins; brothers, Dougie Mullins and Allan Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Mullins; children, Pamela Mullins, Rodney E and Swe Mullins, Jeremiah Mullins (Deanna), Lorraine and Chris Johnson, and Windy Gremmer; grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Kristina, Hunter, Luke, Brytan, Adrian and Dominic; great grandchildren, Adriauna, Asher, Eathan, Grayson, Madeline and Ryder. Papa Rod loved each and every one of you. Also surviving are siblings, Michael Mullins, Randall Mullins, Jeffrey Mullins, Carl Mullins, Jo Malone and Sadie Mullins. Several nieces and nephews also survive. There will be a Celebration of Life visitation on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Family will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with friends from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, 400 S. White St., Athens, TN 37303.
